Welcome to The Parson's Nose family which began in October 2007 and enjoying an ever increasing clientele. We at Parson's Nose feel very strongly that we uphold a good old fashioned service and sociable atmosphere. We appreciate that supermarkets provide convenience of choice under one roof, but where else can you support independent farms, your local butcher and just as importantly enjoy the simple values such as being greeted by name and have time to chat? In return for your valuable custom we endeavour to maintain our high standard of quality and service making it worth your while coming to see us.

About our team who you will meet in the shop: Master Butcher, Bruce, runs the show and has many years experience (he won’t tell us but ABBA was in the charts for the first time when he started!). Jason another highly qualified butcher and master mind behind the private butcher classes we host in our shop. Philip our apprentice is learning everything there is to know about this skilful world of butchery and Serena revels in the dynamics that is office management, marketing and everything else! We source from the best suppliers who include Childhay Manor Organics, Rare Breed and Medium Rare (see links below). Our pork and lamb is free range in Dorset, our beef is Scottish and we only stock delicious free range and superior quality farm meats and poultry. During the shooting season we have a delicious supply of pheasant, partridge, woodcock, teal, duck, pigeon, rabbit and venison from Shakenhurst shoot in Worcester.

For those who are tired of the same old cuts and would enjoy learning a bit more about….well, all of it….then please do come and ask us at the shop! Try something new and adventurous!
